Your body, your data
Cycle Tracker
Your cycle can tell a lot about your health. And we believe every woman has the right to better understand her body and her cycle. Without her data ever being shared with anyone online or sold to the highest bidder.
That is why we’ve created the Cycle Tracker. Built by a woman, for women. All the data stays on your own device. As it should.
We want to keep the app ad-free and accessible for everyone. If it brings you something, a small contribution is hugely appreciated to help keep the app independent and live.
Stays on your device · No ads, ever · No account needed
Why track your cycle?
Your cycle is more than your period. Health professionals increasingly treat the menstrual cycle as a vital sign – a monthly read-out of what’s happening in your body, alongside things like heart rate and blood pressure. Yet most of us were never taught to read it.
"By including an evaluation of the menstrual cycle as an additional vital sign, clinicians reinforce its importance in assessing overall health status for patients and caretakers. Just as abnormal blood pressure, heart rate, or respiratory rate may be key to diagnosing potentially serious health conditions [...]"

Understand your body
Your hormones shift across four phases, and so do your energy, focus, sleep, mood and appetite. Tracking turns a vague "I always feel off around now" into a pattern you can actually see.
Work with your cycle, not against it
Once you know when your energy peaks and dips, you can plan demanding work, training, rest and downtime around your own rhythm instead of pushing through.
Know what's normal for you
Cycle length, flow and symptoms differ from woman to woman. A few months of data reveals your personal baseline, so you notice sooner when something changes.
Have better conversations with your doctor
Irregular cycles, intense symptoms or sudden changes are far easier to discuss when you can show a clear history rather than try to remember it.
Tune into your fertility
Whether you're trying to conceive, avoiding it, or simply curious, seeing your fertile window and ovulation helps you understand your body's timing.
And with the Cycle Tracker, you get all of this without handing your most private data to anyone.
What to expect
Who is this for?
The Cycle Tracker was built for anyone who wants to understand their cycle – whether you’re navigating PMS, trying to conceive, perimenopausal, coming off the pill, or simply curious. We believe everyone should have access to tools that help better understand your body.
Your cycle, at a glance
See where you are at a glance. Your current cycle day, phase and what’s coming – the moment you open the app.
Log it your way
Log as much or as little as you like. Flow, energy, mood, symptoms, movement, temperature, intimacy and notes – and you can hide or reorder anything you don’t use.

At the moment we can only send an onboarding e-mail in English. But don’t worry! We’ve included pictures and as soon as you have the app on your phone, you can change languages through the settings menu.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Cycle Tracker was built from a core belief that every woman has a right to learn more about her body and cycle - without it being shared online or sold to the highest bidder. Unfortunately, most cycle tracking apps these days do just that. They sell your (very!) private information.
That's why this app runs on your local storage. No personal information leaves your device unless you make a back-up and store it elsewhere.
There is one exception though. The app gives you the option to analyse your written notes with an AI. This feature is fully optional and only sends your notes with cycle context - still keeping the information as private as possible. We've also created it so you can use any AI of your choosing, including local models in which case your information doesn't even have to leave your device.
Because you're data is only stored in the local storage on your device, we advise you to create a back-up from time to time. If something were to happen with your device, or you delete the app without having a back-up - you would have to re-enter all the information all over again.
The app is completely free to download and use. No paid features. No ads. Not even our own. And we hope to keep it that way.
If you enjoy using the Cycle Tracker, a small contribution is hugely appreciated to help keep the app independent and live.
If you sign up using this form, you'll receive an e-mail with the link and instructions. These instructions will show you step by step how to get the Cycle Tracker up and running on your phone. Once everything is set up (in 5 simple steps) you can use it as you would any other app.
In order to sign-up for the Cycle Tracker we ask you for your name (so we know what to call you), your e-mail (so we know where to send the instructions) and your preferred language. We would love to e-mail you with the onboarding steps in your preferred language, but for now everyone will receive the onboarding in English. We've included screenshots and instructions on how to change the app's language to your preferred one though.
As we've built the app in a way to protect your privacy, we also don't know how and if people actually use the app. We therefore might send an e-mail in the future asking you for your feedback or a review. We might also use your e-mail if there is important news around the app and we need a means to contact the app users. That's it.
We wanted to create a Cycle Tracker that works with local storage, keeping your data safe from any external party (ourselves included!). Unfortunately, we couldn't guarantee that level of privacy if we would offer the app through an app store.
Don't worry though, once you've installed the app it looks and works just like other apps on your phone. The only difference is that you're responsible for making your own back-ups from time to time.
Even though all data is stored in your local storage and doesn't leave your device - you will need access to an internet browser and an internet or wifi connection. No data is shared online, you only need the browser as a visual interface for the Cycle Tracker.
From other cycle tracking apps, if they allow you to export properly - yes. The Cycle Tracker supports a JSON import feature. Please note, that this was build to import your back-ups from the Cycle Tracker if needed. If you're importing a file from a different cycle tracker, data might get mixed up a little.
From other apps on your phone (such as you health app for example) no. We didn't want to connect the app to other third party apps on your phone due to the privacy concerns that come with it.
Yes and no. You can install and open the Cycle Tracker on as many devices as you want. However, as for privacy reasons all the information is stored in your local storage, the information won't sync across devices. The only way to do so is to create a back-up by exporting your data on one device and importing it on another.
We realise this is a bit of a hassle and since most people use the Cycle Tracker on their phone, that's what we've optimised for. The app works just fine on other devices though. If you prefer using it on your computer for example, let us know and we'll happily send you an adjusted onboarding if needed.
Due to the privacy of the app, there isn't a partner view. To still help your partner understand where you are in your cycle, we've added a fully optional e-mail service.
There are 3 different e-mails you can choose to send your partner: one at the start of your menstruation, one at the start of your expected fertile days and one at the start of your luteal (PMS) days. You can custom compose a message for each (asking for some extra chocolate!) and it will be automatically sent when the timing is triggered in the app.
As these are standard messages, it won't share any private information you don't wish to share yourself while allowing your partner to understand what's going on.
The Cycle Tracker is currently available in: English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish. Additional languages might be added in the future if needed.
Send us a message if you're missing a language and we'll see if we can add it for you.
We would love it if you want to share it with your friends and family. Simply send them this page or install it for them.
We aim to keep the Cycle Tracker ad-free and accessible for everyone. If you enjoy using it, a small contribution is hugely appreciated to help keep the app independent and live.
